BNP Paribas to Appeal Sudan Litigation Ruling
BNP Paribas is set to file an appeal in the ongoing Sudan litigation case by 9 February 2026. This follows a court decision from 8 January 2026 that granted the bank's request to proceed with the appeal process. BNP Paribas expressed a positive outlook on the court's decision, stating that the proceedings are advancing as planned.
The financial group has indicated its preparedness and confidence in the robustness of its legal arguments as it prepares for the appeal. Additionally, BNP Paribas plans to release its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2025 and outline its strategic trajectory up to 2028 on 5 February 2026.
