Bonduelle Sells Packaged Salad Business in Germany

Stock price chart of BONDUELLE (EPA:BON) showing fluctuations.

The Bonduelle Group has finalized the sale of its packaged salad assets in Germany to Taylor Farm as of March 31, 2025. This move is a significant milestone in Bonduelle's "Transform to Win" plan, aimed at enhancing the group's operational profitability. Despite the sale, Bonduelle maintains its presence in the German market with canned and frozen foods, and a brand licence for packaged salads to the new owner.

The divested business, which has been structurally loss-making, generated 60 million euros in sales. The net loss from July 2024 to March 2025 will appear in Bonduelle's consolidated financial statements under discontinued operations, per IFRS standards. Notably, the asset disposal gain is not substantial and will be reflected in the June 2025 statements.

Bonduelle continues to grow in the European fresh delicatessen sector and expands its reach in the American market with a newly launched brand.
