BOOSTER Precision Components GmbH Adjusts Full-Year Guidance Following Preliminary H1 2024 Results
Frankfurt a. M., 6 August 2024 – BOOSTER Precision Components GmbH has announced a revision of its full-year guidance based on preliminary results for the first half of 2024. The figures reveal a decline in revenue and earnings compared to the same period in 2023.
Revenues fell to approximately EUR 90.3 million, down from EUR 94.3 million in H1 2023. EBITDA also saw a reduction to EUR 7.7 million from last year's EUR 11.2 million. This downturn is attributed to lower demand and an unfavorable product mix, alongside costs related to a bond issue and adverse FX impact from a weakened MXN$.
As a result, the Management Board projects a revenue decline of up to 10% for the full year, diverging from its initial expectation of moderate growth. EBITDA is also anticipated to decrease by up to 20%, excluding extraordinary items. The company plans to consider market changes in its 2025 corporate planning.
The half-year report for 2024 will be published by the end of August 2024.
