Borussia Dortmund Parts Ways with Sebastian Kehl

Borussia Dortmund GmbH & Co. KGaA has announced the immediate end of its collaboration with Sebastian Kehl, the club's Director of Sports. The decision, made by mutual agreement, marks a significant change in the club's sporting leadership. Lars Ricken, managing director of Sports at Borussia Dortmund, highlighted a shared history with Kehl and appreciated his contributions. The end of the partnership aims to allow both parties to prepare for the future.

Carsten Cramer, spokesperson for the executive board, acknowledged Kehl's impact and indicated the necessity for change as the club looks forward to the upcoming season. Kehl, reflecting on his 24-year association with the club, expressed pride and gratitude for his tenure and the successes shared with the team. Borussia Dortmund has yet to announce Kehl's successor.
