Joint offer for the acquisition of Altice's activities in France
Bouygues Telecom, Free-Groupe iliad, and Orange have submitted a non-binding offer to acquire a large portion of Altice's operations in France. This proposal primarily targets SFR's assets, excluding Intelcia, UltraEdge, XP Fibre, and Altice Technical Services, as well as those in overseas territories.
The deal could increase investment in very high-speed networks and cybersecurity, while preserving a competitive ecosystem. The proposed tariff split amounts to €17 billion, with shares of 43% for Bouygues Telecom, 30% for Free, and 27% for Orange. The offer remains conditional, requiring approval from Altice and regulators.
