Broadpeak SA Reports Modest Revenue Growth in Q1 2024
Broadpeak SA, a key player in video streaming software, announced its first-quarter 2024 revenue, registering a slight increase of 1.5%, totaling €7.2 million. This growth is despite the substantial drop in Asia-Pacific region revenues, which decreased by 80.4% compared to the previous year. Significant increases in the Americas and EMEA regions, rising by 83.1% and 14.2% respectively, helped offset this decline.
The revenue from licenses, services, and maintenance remains the major income source for Broadpeak, contributing to over 90% of the total revenue and witnessing a 21.1% rise. However, equipment sales continue to decline, aligning with the company's strategy to focus more on high-margin offerings.
Broadpeak has also secured new contracts with major industry players like Deutsche Telekom and BT Group, while also being recognized for its innovative technology solutions at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. These advancements underline Broadpeak's commitment to maintaining its competitive position in the streaming technology market.
Looking ahead, Broadpeak confirms its financial targets for 2024, emphasizing its expectations for continued revenue growth and projecting a positive free cash flow by year-end. The company also plans to continue its cost control measures, particularly in external services and customer payment processes.
