Brödernas Group AB Seeks Company Restructuring Amid Economic Challenges

Brödernas Group AB has announced an application for company restructuring to secure future stability. The restaurant group's operations will continue as usual during the process. Economic factors such as the pandemic, inflation, increased interest rates, and rising rental costs have prompted this decision.

The restructuring requires court approval and is anticipated to take three to six months. Planned financial and operational changes aim to create a sustainable and profitable business. Despite efforts like unprofitable restaurant closures and supplier renegotiations, financial issues persist.

Brödernas projects a turnover of SEK 542 million with an EBITDA of SEK -26 million for 2024, improving to SEK 597 million and SEK 36 million by 2026. This restructuring is seen as essential for safeguarding jobs and recovering market strength.
