Camino and Nittetsu Extend Negotiation Period for Copper Mine Acquisition
Camino Minerals Corporation and Nittetsu Mining Co., Ltd. have announced an extension of their exclusive negotiation period to finalize the acquisition of the Puquios Project in Chile. The period has been extended by one week, now concluding on September 7, 2024. This extension allows both parties additional time to complete detailed negotiations and documentation for the copper mine acquisition.
Camino, a copper exploration company, focuses on its Los Chapitos copper project in Peru and holds permits for the Maria Cecilia copper porphyry project. Nittetsu, a Japanese corporation with extensive experience in mining, aims to expand its operations in Chile with this acquisition.
This acquisition remains subject to several conditions including regulatory approval and shareholder consent. There is no guarantee the deal will be finalized as planned, and investors are advised to exercise caution.
