Canada Jetlines Forms Strategic ACMI Lease Agreement with Air Arabia Moroc

Canada Jetlines Operations Ltd. (Cboe CA:CJET), a notable Canadian leisure airline, announced its decision to expand its operations into Morocco this summer through an ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) lease agreement with Air Arabia Moroc. This partnership enables the deployment of two of Canada Jetlines' Airbus A320 aircraft for flights linking Western European cities with Morocco, spanning from mid-June to mid-September 2024.

CEO Eddy Doyle emphasized the agreement's pivotal role in enhancing the airline's business strategy, aiming to leverage busy European summer periods and establishing Canada Jetlines as a leading provider of specialized aviation solutions. This move aligns with the airline's growth strategy, focused on efficient aircraft utilization and service expansion in high-demand seasons. Post the lease period, these aircraft will resume services in North America for the fall/winter leisure season.
