Canex Advances Drill Data Compilation at the Louise Cu-Au Porphyry
CANEX Metals Inc. has released the results from its drill data compilation at the Louise Cu-Au Porphyry project in British Columbia. Historic drilling has identified a 1000-metre-long and 400-metre-wide mineralized zone extending to approximately 300 metres depth. Significant copper and gold grades were recorded, notably in hole LL04-03, which returned 158 metres grading 0.41% copper and 0.40 g/t gold.
The data suggests potential for copper and gold below the existing resource. CANEX proposes a deep induced polarization survey to explore up to 1000 metres depth across 6 to 7 kilometres of strike length. This initiative aims to better understand the district-scale potential of the porphyry system.
The Louise project is located near Smithers and benefits from excellent road access. CANEX's review of historic drill data has strengthened their belief in the significant discovery potential surrounding the known zone. The company plans the next stage of exploration at Louise, aiming to capitalize on the promising risk-reward proposition for its shareholders.
