Encavis AG Expands with New Wind Farm Acquisition

Encavis AG, a wind and solar park operator based in Hamburg, has announced the acquisition of a wind farm in Everswinkel, North Rhine-Westphalia. The farm has a total generation capacity of 28.5 megawatts (MW). Comprising two projects, Everswinkel I has been operational since August 2024, and Everswinkel II is currently under construction. This acquisition continues the company's collaboration with UKA Umweltgerechte Kraftanlagen Holding GmbH.

Mario Schirru, CIO/COO of Encavis AG, remarks the acquisition as an expansion of their renewable capacity in Germany and Europe. Stefan Kath, COO of UKA, highlights the benefits of their partnership, emphasizing the contribution to the energy transition.

The wind farm's five Nordex turbines are expected to produce around 64 gigawatt hours of green electricity annually, thanks to a 20-year purchase agreement secured through an EEG feed-in tariff.
