Cell Impact and thyssenkrupp Forge Strategic Partnership in Hydrogen Sector
Cell Impact AB and thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering have signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement to collaborate in the hydrogen industry. The alliance focuses on joint marketing and technical development of flow plates and manufacturing processes for fuel cells and electrolyzers.
thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering, part of thyssenkrupp's automotive division, specializes in electric mobility automation solutions. The unit employs around 1,100 staff across ten countries. Daniel Vallin, CEO of Cell Impact, highlights the synergy with thyssenkrupp, emphasizing the potential to scale up business using Cell Impact’s patented forming technology.
The agreement stems from a prior Letter of Intent signed in July 2025. Cell Impact has delivered millions of flow plates globally and aims to enhance production capabilities through this partnership.
