CGM Set to Host Virtual Annual General Meeting, Proposes Increased Dividend

CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA (CGM) announced its plan to conduct its Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on May 22, 2024. The decision to hold the AGM online aims to facilitate seamless interaction between shareholders and the management using video communication and various digital channels. This approach is also seen as a means to encourage participation from international investors by eliminating travel costs and reducing carbon emissions.

The company has made the AGM agenda and related documents publicly available on its website. Importantly, CGM has proposed a dividend increase to EUR 1.00 per share, a significant rise from the previous year's dividend of EUR 0.50. The proposed dividend, amounting to a total payout of over EUR 50 million, reflects a dividend yield of 2.6 percent.

CompuGroup Medical's CEO, Michael Rauch, highlighted the company's intent to share its positive growth with shareholders through the increased dividend. He emphasized CGM's pioneering role in the digital transformation of the global healthcare sector, including the use of Artificial Intelligence in its software solutions for customers. The company had previously announced its preliminary financial results for 2023 and its outlook for 2024 on February 7, 2023, with the full Annual Report available since March 28, 2023.
