Changes in the Executive Board of Schaeffler AG

Schaeffler AG has announced significant changes in its Executive Board. Thomas Stierle (54) from Vitesco Technologies will head the new E-Mobility division starting October 1, 2024. Stierle has extensive experience in electrification technologies, previously serving as CEO of Electrification Solutions at Vitesco.

Dr. Jochen Schröder (53), previously head of Schaeffler's E-Mobility business division, will assume the role of Regional CEO Europe. Schröder joined Schaeffler in 2018 and has an extensive background in the automotive sector, including a role as CTO at Valeo-Siemens eAutomotive.

Christophe Hannequin (48) will succeed Claus Bauer as CFO next year. Hannequin, currently with JCB Group, has held several key financial roles at Michelin, Plastic Omnium, and Saint Gobain. He will take on his new role by October 1, 2025.
