Chargeurs Luxury Fibers has expanded its sustainable fiber program, NATIVA™, by launching NATIVA™ Cotton. Initially successful with Merino wool, the program now includes cotton, aiming to provide the textile industry with an environmentally respectful option. The initiative combines the use of regenerative agriculture and comprehensive traceability from the farm to the final garment, a first in Europe with a partner farm in Greece. This move aims to promote more sustainable natural fibers usage in the fashion industry, particularly cotton, which represents 65% of the fibers used.

Building on the successful adoption by leading fashion brands, NATIVA™ Cotton is set to make a significant impact on reducing the textile sector's carbon footprint. The program not only ensures environmental respect but also aims to boost local communities and farmers' livelihoods through fair value sharing. Federico Paullier, CEO of Chargeurs Luxury Fibers, highlighted the alignment of the NATIVA™ program with fashion brands' environmental commitments.

The NATIVA™ program, recognized for its secure blockchain-based traceability system, allows consumers to track the production journey of garments made from NATIVA™ fibers. Following the lead of NATIVA™ certified wool, which marked a sales increase of over 20%, Chargeurs plans to extend this program to cashmere, starting with a partnership in Mongolia. This expansion strengthens Chargeurs' role as a leader in the sustainable natural fibers market, emphasizing the significant potential of regenerative agriculture in transforming the fashion industry into a more sustainable sector.
