Jurjen Jongma Joins Cherry SE as CFO
Cherry SE has appointed Jurjen Jongma as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2025. He replaces Volker Christ, who is leaving due to family health issues. Jongma brings extensive corporate finance experience, having previously held CFO positions at Ebusco and Versuni. His academic background includes a Master's degree in Finance & Control from Maastricht and studies in Munich, which enhanced his proficiency in German.
Marcel Stolk, Chairman of Cherry SE's Supervisory Board, expressed confidence in Jongma's track record in international finance, highlighting his expertise in M&A, taxation, and performance management. CEO Oliver Kaltner praised Christ's contributions and welcomed Jongma's leadership in Cherry's transformation.
Jongma is optimistic about collaborating with Cherry's management team, aiming to strengthen the company following recent business disposals and refinancing efforts.
