Circus Group Signs Preliminary Agreement for Food Production Robot at Berlin Brandenburg Airport
Circus Group has signed a preliminary agreement with Berlin Brandenburg Airport to deploy its autonomous food production robot CA-1. This initiative will start in 2025, providing meals for airport employees. The project aims to lay the groundwork for a potential larger collaboration.
Based in Hamburg, Circus SE is a leader in AI robotics for autonomous kitchen systems. The CA-1 robot can prepare up to 2,000 meals daily in a compact 20-square-meter space without human intervention. This technology aims to ensure efficient and hygienic food service.
Berlin Brandenburg Airport is Germany's third-largest airport by size. The initial deployment will integrate the CA-1 robot into the daily catering operations for airport employees.
"This partnership reflects our vision of efficient, high-quality food service in busy environments," said Circus Group CEO Nikolas Bullwinkel. The initiative also aims to showcase Circus' innovative capabilities in transforming the food service industry.
