City of Topeka Embraces Softdocs for Enhanced Document Management and Process Automation

The city of Topeka, KS, has partnered with Softdocs to revolutionize its business and municipal operations by leveraging the company's cloud-based document management and process automation solutions. This strategic move aims to replace the city's outdated on-premises legacy system, highlighting a commitment to enhancing cybersecurity, integrating with existing ERP software from Tyler Technologies, and streamlining services across multiple departments.

Softdocs was chosen for its superior functionality tailored to the public sector, its top-ranked customer service by G2, and its capabilities in bolstering cybersecurity. The implementation across eight critical departments such as legal, water, and human resources, intends to modernize Topeka's municipal services by migrating up to 1.5 million documents to a secure, SOC 2 compliant content repository.

Adam Park, CEO of Softdocs, emphasized the alignment of Topeka's initiative with the top priorities for city CIOs as identified by the Center for Digital Government. These include enhancing cybersecurity, improving customer experiences, and empowering the workforce. Park expressed enthusiasm for Topeka's forward-thinking approach and welcomed the city into Softdocs' growing user community.
