Collaboration between DC and Zebra Comics for an anthology on the Joker

Zebra Comics SA, leader in African comic book publishing, is teaming up with DC Comics to launch “Joker: The World”, an international anthology of the famous supervillain. This collaboration marks the development of an original Joker story, entitled "Black Therapy", created entirely by Africans.

The project, which will see the light of day on September 17, 2024, will present the Joker in a unique context in Cameroon, illustrated by writer Dr. Ejob Gaius and illustrator Bertrand Mbozo'o Zeh. According to Ejob Nathanaël Ejob, CEO of Zebra Comics, this initiative represents an important step for African representation in the global comics industry.

“Joker: The World” will be available via the Zebra Comics app, their website and at various international retail outlets. Pre-order is already open, anticipating strong demand for this unique interpretation of the Joker.
