Commerce Resources Corp. Appoints Ross Carroll as New President and CEO
Commerce Resources Corp. has announced the appointment of Ross Carroll as its new President and CEO, effective August 1, 2024. Carroll will also join the company's board of directors immediately. He brings multiple decades of experience in finance, M&A, operations, and strategic oversight, having worked with top companies including BHP, Woodside Energy, Macmahon Holdings, and MMG Limited.
Carroll's recent role as CFO at MMG saw him manage its international growth, including the Dugald River Project in Australia and the Khoemacau Copper Mine acquisition in Botswana. He holds a Bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Commenting on his appointment, Carroll expressed excitement about the significant potential of the Ashram Rare Earths and Fluorspar Project in Quebec. Concurrently, Chris Grove, the outgoing President and CEO, will transition to the role of Director of Corporate Development.
