Commerzbank CEO Manfred Knof Announces Departure by End of 2025
Manfred Knof, CEO of Commerzbank AG, has notified Jens Weidmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, that he will not seek an extension of his contract beyond December 2025. Knof will fulfill his current responsibilities until the end of his term.
Jens Weidmann expressed regret over Knof's decision but acknowledged his successful tenure and respected his choice. The Supervisory Board of Commerzbank AG will initiate an orderly search process for a new CEO immediately.
