Compagnie des Alpes finalizes the acquisition of 86.5% of the Urban Group

Paris, June 13, 2024 – Compagnie des Alpes announces the acquisition of 83.0% of the capital of Soccer 5 France SAS, parent company of the Urban Group. An additional promise of sale for 3.5% of the capital has also been put in place, exercisable between October and December 2024.

This operation allows Compagnie des Alpes to become a majority shareholder with 86.5% of the capital. The rest of the shares will be held by the managers and founders of the Urban Group.

The acquisition values the company at 157 million euros with a payment of 129.7 million euros for the major shares and an additional 10 million conditional on favorable tax developments. The repurchase of the rest of the shares is planned in the next 4 to 5 years.

The Urban Group operates 35 centers in France and one in Portugal, managing 270 5-a-side football pitches and 100 padel courts, welcoming 3.75 million players per year.
