Comprehensive Eye Care Program Launched for Compton Schoolchildren

Vision To Learn, in partnership with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and Compton Unified School District, has announced an initiative to provide comprehensive eye care to all 19,000 children in Compton schools. This program, supported by a $1 million grant from Everychild Foundation, will provide vision screenings, eye exams, glasses, and additional medical care at no cost to families.

The collaboration aims to address the significant lack of eye care access in low-income communities. Vision To Learn is known for its extensive outreach, having provided millions of children across the country with crucial vision services. For children needing more than glasses, CHLA will offer further medical assistance through advanced telemedicine and clinical treatment facilitated by the latest technology in Vision To Learn's mobile clinics.
