Corey Cutler Named ASTCT President for 2024-2025

The American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy® (ASTCT®) announced the appointment of Corey Cutler, MD, MPH, as President for the 2024-2025 term. A member of ASTCT since 2002, Dr. Cutler joined the board of directors in 2009. He also serves as Director of the Adult Stem Cell Transplantation Program at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston and is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Cutler says he is honored by this appointment and aims to support his community by advancing science and education. Among his previous contributions to ASTCT, he chaired the working group on generic drugs in stem cell transplantation and the Committee of Young Clinicians and Researchers. He is also one of the first faculty members of the ASTCT Clinical Research Training Program.

His research has focused on the development of new methods for prophylaxis and therapy of acute and chronic graft-versus-host disease, as well as decision theory in stem cell transplantation. The author of more than 300 peer-reviewed publications and 25 journal and book chapters, Dr. Cutler is also a member of the editorial board of the journal Biology of Blood and Marrow Transplantation.
