CTS EVENTIM Acquires 17% Stake in France Billet from Fnac Darty

CTS EVENTIM and Fnac Darty have concluded the sale of a 17% stake in France Billet. This transaction makes CTS EVENTIM the majority stakeholder, solidifying their strategic partnership. Necessary regulatory approvals were obtained, including antitrust clearances from European and Swiss authorities.

Enrique Martinez, CEO of Fnac Darty, emphasized the significance of this milestone following their collaboration for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Fnac Darty will continue to support France Billet through its stores and the Fnac Spectacles brand, despite retaining a 35% share.

Klaus-Peter Schulenberg, CEO of CTS EVENTIM, highlighted the opportunity to enhance their position in the French ticketing market. The acquisition aims to expand EVENTIM's business and increase brand reach across Europe. France Billet's management remains unchanged, ensuring continuity and stability in operations.
