Cubic Awarded NAVAIR Contract to Provide Secure Live Virtual and Constructive Advanced Training Environment (SLATE)

Cubic Defense, a leading provider of advanced air combat training, has been awarded a contract modification by the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). This modification is for engineering support services in preparation for a demonstration during Valiant Shield '24 in Guam. The contract aims to enhance the Secure Live Virtual and Constructive Advanced Training Environment (SLATE) for fighter pilots.

The SLATE technology developed by Cubic integrates synthetic entities and computer-generated forces to simulate high-end threat environments. This realism is injected into live cockpits and operator consoles, providing joint and coalition operators with the tools they need for today's combat readiness. Paul K.
