Curated Events Expands in Nashville with Acquisition of Please Be Seated Event Rentals

MRE Capital, a private equity entity, has announced the acquisition of Please Be Seated Event Rentals by Curated Events, expanding its presence and capacity in Nashville. The details of the financial transaction have not been disclosed. Please Be Seated, recognized for its white-glove service in event rentals, was established in 2014 in Nashville, Tennessee, and has since become a leading provider in the Southeast.

David Williams, Chairman and Founder of MRE Capital, expressed enthusiasm for integrating Please Be Seated into Curated Events, aiming to establish the latter as the top events service in the Southeast. Similarly, Al Dyess, CEO of Curated Events, highlighted the merger as an opportunity to combine two innovative event rental services, enhancing offerings for customers in the Nashville market.

Please Be Seated was founded by Mary and Paul Huddleston ten years ago with a focus on providing exceptional products and services in event rentals. Paul Huddleston emphasized that in selecting new ownership, it was crucial to find an entity that shared their values and commitment to quality. The acquisition by Curated Events promises to offer greater inventory and resources to both teams and clients.
