Dateline Resources Advances Colosseum Project with New Drilling Phase
Dateline Resources Limited has announced a significant stride in its drilling activities at the Colosseum Gold-REE Project in California. The Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) drill program, consisting of 32 holes, is 67% complete and expected to wrap up by November 7, 2025. This phase is pivotal for infill, extensional, and tailings stability drilling, setting the stage for future operations.
The company plans to include approximately 1Mt of historical stockpiles in its mine plan, potentially adding around 30,000 ounces of gold. Concurrently, exploration will target new gold and rare earth elements (REE), focusing on high-priority areas identified through recent studies. This move aims to solidify Dateline's operational groundwork and enhance project economics.
Managing Director Stephen Baghdadi confirmed that over 1,400 samples are currently being processed, marking a crucial phase in defining the project's viability. The combination of infill drilling and exploration reflects Dateline's strategic focus on enhancing resource confidence and unlocking additional value from the site.
