DEAG Completes Full Acquisition of Fane Productions

DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG has acquired the remaining 25.5% stake in Fane Productions, cementing its ownership at 100%. Prior to this, DEAG held 74.5% through KMJ Entertainment. The acquisition aligns with DEAG's strategy to expand its footprint in the Spoken Word & Literary Events sector. Notably, the purchase price includes a cash component and 800,000 DEAG shares, bringing Fane's CEO, Alex Fane, on board as a DEAG shareholder.

Since becoming part of DEAG in 2021, Fane Productions has strengthened its market leadership in the UK and globally. Originating from 2017, the company operates in several countries and organizes events attracting over 700,000 attendees annually. This acquisition supports DEAG's buy-and-build strategy, leveraging funds from its new corporate bond.

DEAG aims to enhance its dominant position in this thriving sector across various European markets. The acquisition is seen as a step towards sustaining significant growth in the sector.
