Delectrik Systems to Launch India's First 100 MWH Flow Battery
Delectrik Systems Pvt. Ltd. is set to deploy India's first utility-scale Vanadium Redox Flow Battery, boasting a capacity of 100 MWH. The project comes in collaboration with Bondada Engineering Limited and is commissioned by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. NTPC, India's top integrated power utility, aims to expand its renewable energy capacity to 60 GW by 2032.
The Flow Battery will be installed at Khavda Solar Park, projected to be the largest renewable energy park worldwide by 2029. This marks Delectrik's significant milestone, being the first 100% Indian-designed and manufactured project of its scale. The company is pursuing further orders for up to a GWH capacity across various global markets within a year.
Delectrik has established subsidiaries to enhance its business scope. These subsidiaries will focus on Vanadium Oxide production and offering Energy Storage as a service. The technology is vital for integrating large-scale renewable energy into national grids.
