Delivery Hero Responds to European Commission Investigation

Berlin, 23 July 2024 – The European Commission has launched a formal investigation into Delivery Hero SE and Glovo. This investigation focuses on alleged anticompetitive practices including market allocation, sharing sensitive information, and no-poach agreements prior to Delivery Hero's full acquisition of Glovo in 2022.

The opening of the investigation does not conclude that any infringement has occurred or predict the outcome. Delivery Hero is cooperating fully with the Commission and remains committed to compliance and regulatory standards.

As previously announced, Delivery Hero plans to increase its provision to more than EUR 400 million related to this matter. This decision reflects the company's commitment to good corporate governance. Delivery Hero is on track to meet its FY 2024 guidance with substantial profitability increases expected in 2025 and beyond.
