Departure of Mr. Pierre Leroy from the General Management of Lagardère and appointment as Advisor to the President

By Rémy EISENSTEIN - On March 19, 2024, Mr. Pierre Leroy informed the Board of Directors of his decision to end his mandate as Deputy General Manager, member of the Executive Committee and Censor of the Board of Directors of Lagardère SA, with immediate effect. As of the same date, Mr. Leroy is appointed Advisor to the Chairman and CEO of the Group, Mr. Arnaud Lagardère.

Mr. Pierre Leroy also retains several mandates within the Group, notably as Chairman of Lagardère Ressources, President of Lagardère Paris Racing Ressources, Managing Director of the Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation and President of the Hachette Foundation for Reading, which he created.

Arnaud Lagardère expressed his gratitude to Mr. Pierre Leroy for his 54 years of service within the Lagardère group, saluting his role in the development, transformation and success of the Group. Mr. Leroy was notably at the head of Hachette Livre between 2021 and 2023, a period during which the Group reached unprecedented levels of performance and positioned itself on the path to global leadership, transformation and adaptation. to new uses.
