Derichebourg successfully launches its first senior green bonds
On September 10, 2026, Derichebourg announced the completion of its senior green bond offering, totaling €800 million. This offering is divided into bonds maturing in 2031 for €475 million at an interest rate of 5.375%, and bonds maturing in 2033 for €325 million at an interest rate of 5.875%.
The funds raised will be used to repay several debts, including those related to the acquisition of Scholz Holding and Scholz Recycling, representing 100% and 80% of their share capital respectively. Part of the capital will also be used to refinance existing bonds and for general corporate purposes.
As the inaugural green bond issuance under the June 2026 green financing framework, this transaction was significantly oversubscribed. Settlement is scheduled for September 16, 2026.
