Deutsche Post AG Announces Structural Modernization as Part of Strategy 2030
Deutsche Post AG's management board has initiated a strategic framework for the latter half of the decade. Under "Strategy 2030 – Accelerate Sustainable Growth," the company aims for a 50% revenue increase by 2030 compared to 2023. DHL Group seeks to maximize growth potential through divisional and Group growth initiatives.
To support its growth agenda, DHL Group plans to align its complex legal structure with its effective management framework. This involves simplifying the structure to reduce complexity and enhance agility.
The plan includes making Post & Parcel Germany and eCommerce standalone entities. The name “Deutsche Post AG” will continue for Post & Parcel Germany activities. The measure does not intend to change the group’s portfolio, wage agreements, or management responsibilities and will take one to two years to implement.
The supervisory board endorses this modernization plan, with further details to be presented on September 24, 2024.
