DEXIS announced the launch of the DEXIS Ti2 Sensor, the latest addition to their digital dental imaging ecosystem. This new sensor is designed to enhance productivity through a suite of advanced features and improved durability. The DEXIS Ti2 builds on the legacy of the DEXIS Titanium Sensor, which was the leading digital intraoral sensor in the U.S. as of 2023.

The new Ti2 sensor includes a housing design that is twice as durable as previous models, a proactive servicing module, and integrates 2D AI Dental Findings into the DTEX Studio Clinic and DEXIS Imaging Suite software. This integration automates the detection of common dental issues without relying on third-party applications. Dr. Moe Katz from Katz & Pfeffer Dental Studio highlighted the clarity and precision in caries detection enabled by this technology.

In addition to durability and software integration, the Ti2 sensor features a new posterior holder and the WiseAngle cable design that minimizes stress on sensor connections. DEXIS has also introduced DEXIS Connect Pro, an IoT solution that monitors the health of sensors and coordinates timely support and equipment replacements, enhancing productivity and patient care.

The device also employs CleanCapture technology to produce high-resolution images with reduced noise and improved detail, adaptable to various exposure levels and techniques. Its PerfectSize design ensures the sensor fits comfortably in any patient's mouth, promising convenience and efficiency for dental practices.
