Digi Power X Inc. announced a $200 million debt financing commitment to support its 40 MW AI data center in Columbiana, Alabama. The financing, led by Goldman Sachs, aims to finalize within 90 days, subject to conditions and due diligence. The funds will assist in completing the Alabama project and managing related costs while preserving corporate liquidity. This development marks progress in infrastructure and revenue generation efforts for the company.
Currently, Digi Power X holds approximately $135 million in cash, with $153 million invested in capital expenditures in 2026. Construction in Alabama continues on schedule, with Phase 1 slated for December 2026 completion and Phase 2 expected in March 2027. The company's ARMS 200 modular data center, operational since May, underscores its infrastructure management capabilities.
Expansion plans include the AI token factory through the NeoCloudz platform and repurposing New York sites into AI token factories. A new Silicon Valley lab will support these expansions, leveraging engineering and AI expertise.
