Innovative Partnership Enhances Security in Critical Infrastructure

Dormakaba Holding AG, a leader in access solutions, and Rohde & Schwarz, a technology company, are expanding their partnership to protect critical infrastructure. Their new automated screening solution, originally developed for airports, will now extend to various sectors such as power plants and data centers. This system aims to improve security checks while increasing efficiency and capacity.

The solution, termed Automated Personnel Screening (APS), combines security interlocks with AI technology from dormakaba and advanced scanning from Rohde & Schwarz. The millimeter wave scanner detects various objects, offering enhanced protection against modern threats.

Global pilot projects in the USA, Singapore, and the Netherlands are underway, with trials starting at Munich Airport soon. This collaboration seeks to meet the growing security demands, integrating state-of-the-art technology for better infrastructure protection.
