Eagle Plains Announces Renewable Energy Subsidiary

CRANBROOK, BC / ACCESSWIRE / October 2, 2024 / Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) has announced the formation of Osprey Power Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary. Osprey Power will focus on clean energy projects, starting in Western Canada. The new division aims to take advantage of opportunities in the green energy transition in Canada.

Osprey Power will be led by Jared Sproule, who has 17 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. The company aims to leverage its expertise in wind, solar, battery energy storage systems, and small hydro development. Community engagement will be a key part of their operations.

Eagle Plains will maintain its focus on mineral exploration, while also supporting Osprey Power's independent development and marketing of sustainable energy projects. The management sees synergies between their traditional business and their new renewable energy ventures.
