Eagle Plains Reports Drilling Results at Don Lake Uranium Project
Eagle Plains Resources Ltd., in partnership with Xcite Uranium Inc., has released new results from their drilling program at the Don Lake Project in Saskatchewan. The recent drilling in the B Zone and C Zone encountered multiple intervals of anomalous radioactivity. Significant findings include DN26005 with 1.3m averaging 2898 cps and DN26009 with 0.6m averaging 12473 cps.
The drilling program, completed over 1106 meters through 10 holes, was aimed at identifying structurally-controlled uranium mineralization. Anomalies are primarily associated with altered gabbroic gneiss. The project covers multiple past-producing mines, ensuring a keen interest in the potential for valuable uranium deposits.
The 2026 budget for Don Lake sits at $1.1 million, with continued exploration expected to build on these promising results. The project is part of a broader option agreement allowing Xcite Uranium to earn an 80% interest by fulfilling specific financial and operational commitments.
