Eagle Plains Resources Unveils 2024 Exploration Plans

Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSXV:EPL) has announced the commencement of its 2024 exploration season. The company plans to conduct exploration on 26 projects across British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Funding will come from partners through existing option agreements and from EPL’s generative programs.

A variety of deposit types will be targeted, including gold, silver, copper, uranium, zinc, lead, and rare earth elements. The exploration will integrate modern geochemical and geophysical techniques to identify new drill targets and delineate existing ones. Projects range from early to advanced stages.

Key highlights include 13 projects fully funded by partners, with a major focus on uranium exploration in Saskatchewan around Uranium City and the southern Athabasca Basin. In British Columbia, the focus will be on Cu-Au porphyry and epithermal deposits in renowned porphyry districts.

Partner-funded programs will see Xcite Resources Inc. conducting ground exploration and assessments on six uranium projects in Uranium City. Refined Energy Corp. will carry out geophysical surveys at the Dufferin projects in the Athabasca Basin. Internally funded explorations will concentrate on Cu-Au porphyry targets in central and northern BC.

Field activities, managed by Terralogic Exploration Inc., have already started at various prospects, including Sedex, Cu-Au Porphyry, and structurally controlled Au prospects. Analytical and geophysical results are pending for these completed programs.
