Eagle Royalties Announces Sale of Slocan Graphite Project
Eagle Plains Resources has sold the Slocan Graphite Project to Weaver Energy Corp., an Ontario-based private company. Eagle Royalties Ltd. holds a 2% net production royalty on the project, with 1% potentially purchasable by Eagle Plains for CDN$1,000,000.
The Slocan project, located in southern British Columbia, spans 14 mineral claims and covers 2888 hectares. The site benefits from excellent infrastructure, including a nearby high-voltage transmission line and a graphite processing plant. The area's graphite mineralization aligns with a crystalline flake graphite deposit model.
While past operators noted the potential for significant mineralization, this has not yet been verified through diamond drilling. As economic outlook for graphite remains positive, the Slocan project stands as a promising exploration opportunity.
