EasyJet Announces AGM Voting Results
EasyJet plc has disclosed the outcomes of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 13 February 2025. All proposed resolutions received approval via a poll, meeting necessary majority thresholds. Ordinary Resolutions, ranging from 1 to 20, secured approval with a simple majority, while Special Resolutions 21 to 23 achieved at least 75% support.
The resolution to receive the company's Annual Report and Accounts witnessed 99.86% in favour, with a significant turnout reflected in the 49.27% of issued share capital voted. Meanwhile, the Directors’ Remuneration Policy was approved with 90.87% of votes supporting it. A final dividend for the year ended September 2024 also passed, supported by 99.97% of voting shares.
Key directors were re-elected, notably Sir Stephen Hester at 95.18% approval and Kenton Jarvis at 99.78%. PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP continues as auditors, gaining 97.07% backing. These results underscore strong shareholder confidence in easyJet's governance and strategy.
