ECEC 2024: Europe’s Largest Compliance Conference Explores Future of Corporate Transparency

EQS Group will host Europe's largest gathering of compliance professionals virtually on October 16th, 2024. The European Compliance and Ethics Conference (ECEC) will focus on "Transforming Compliance: Closing the Trust Gap in an Uncertain World." Experts will examine the role of trust and ethical behavior in compliance programs.

Achim Weick, EQS Group's CEO, emphasized that trust is essential for sustainable business success, advocating for compliance programs rooted in ethical principles. Thousands of global compliance professionals are expected to attend.

One highlight will be Zelda Perkins discussing her journey from whistleblower to activist, having exposed the Harvey Weinstein scandal. She will share her insights on courage and compliance.

Dr. Stefanie Fehr and attorney Holger Hembach will present a new study on the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. They will provide practical recommendations to help companies meet these new regulations.

The event will also feature the ECEC Award 2024, celebrating innovative compliance projects. Three finalists will present their work, with the audience voting for the winner.
