Edding AG Reports Slight Decline in 2024 Group Sales
According to preliminary figures, Edding AG's Group Sales for 2024 reached EUR 156.0 million. This figure falls just below the anticipated range of EUR 158.0 million to EUR 168.0 million. The slight decrease from the previous year's EUR 160.5 million is largely attributed to declines in the Collaboration @ Work and Creative & Home units.
Group EBIT showed improvement, achieving EUR 2.6 million, up from a previous year loss of EUR -1.3 million. The discontinued edding TATTOO business contributed a separate EUR -1.5 million loss. Adjusting for certain previous year effects, the EBIT result aligns well within updated expectations set in mid-2024.
Despite 2024 results being lower than earlier forecasts, Edding remains optimistic about reaching its mid-term financial targets for 2026. Looking forward to 2025, the company predicts growth in sales and a continuing positive trajectory.
