Edenred Reduces Share Capital Through Treasury Share Cancellation
On December 19, 2024, Edenred's Board of Directors approved a reduction in share capital, a decision supported unanimously. This move followed the authorization from a General Meeting held on May 7, 2024. The capital will decrease as a result of canceling 2,036,606 treasury shares. These shares represent 0.83% of the company’s share capital and were repurchased between October 14 and December 16, 2024, within a share buyback program announced earlier on March 8, 2024.
This cancellation operation results in Edenred SE's share capital totaling 483,947,960 euros now divided into 241,973,980 shares, each with a par value of €2. Such financial maneuvers can influence stock pricing strategies and shareholder equity in the company.
