This operation will allow Edenred to become the second largest player in B2B mobility services in Italy, with a portfolio of 50,000 B2B customers.

IP Gruppo api has the largest fuel and energy network in Italy, with more than 4,600 gas stations representing approximately 20% of the total number of stations in the country. Its solid single-brand energy card business benefits from its reputation and the extensive coverage of its network in all regions of Italy. The “IP Plus” and “IP Plus fast” cards are flagship products in the Italian B2B energy card market, with a particularly strong presence in the SME segment.

The acquisition of IP Gruppo api's energy cards business will enable Edenred to significantly strengthen its B2B mobility business in Italy and position itself ideally to exploit the potential of the transition of B2B fleets to electric vehicles.
