EDF Announces Governance Changes to Support Nuclear and Hydropower Programs

EDF has announced significant governance changes to enhance its role in France's nuclear and hydropower sectors. Jean Casabianca, the general inspector for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection, will now report directly to the chairman and CEO, overseeing nuclear and hydropower safety.

Xavier Gruz has joined the executive committee of EDF. He will shape the project management for new nuclear initiatives. Thierry Le Mouroux will implement a dedicated project entity to streamline operations and strengthen ties with key industry partners like Arabelle Solutions and Framatome.

Emmanuelle Verger, responsible for EDF Hydro, and Nicolas Machtou, the current director of the nuclear program, have both been appointed to the executive committee. These appointments highlight EDF's strategic commitment to improving industrial performance and decision-making efficiency.
