Edison Releases Insights on Finsbury Growth & Income Trust

The trust now has increased exposure to digital sector leaders, constituting nearly two-thirds of the fund, while reducing its stake in consumer companies and eliminating non-UK positions. The managers, Nick Train and Madeline Wright, express optimism about FGT's potential, noting the UK market's attractiveness compared to global peers. Despite recent performance improvements following a challenging period, the trust maintains a long-term annualised outperformance rate of 3.7 percentage points since 2001.
