Edison Investment Research Limited a publié un rapport sur Witan Investment Trust (LSE : WTAN). En juin 2024, Witan Investment Trust et Alliance Trust ont annoncé leur projet de fusion pour former Alliance Witan. L'entité combinée possédera un actif net proche de 5 milliards de livres sterling, offrant une liquidité accrue, des économies d'échelle et une inclusion potentielle dans l'indice UK 100.
Le nouveau fonds Alliance Witan vise à offrir des rendements réels à long terme grâce à la croissance du capital et à un dividende en hausse. Il vise à devenir une option d'investissement en actions mondiale de premier plan pour les investisseurs particuliers. La transaction est en attente de l'approbation des actionnaires et devrait être finalisée début octobre.
