Eftsure Expands to U.S., Appoints Jon Soldan as Global CEO
Australian payment protection firm Eftsure has entered the U.S. market amid rising scam losses and growing cyber threats. The company appointed Jon Soldan as global CEO to spearhead its American operations. Based in Salt Lake City, Soldan brings experience from various tech companies, including Oracle and RealPage.
Co-founder and current CEO Mark Chazan will continue leading Eftsure in Australia and New Zealand. Under his leadership, the company achieved significant growth, being named among the Australian Financial Review's 50 fastest-growing companies. Chazan emphasized the need for robust fraud protection in the U.S. market.
Eftsure has built a substantial database of verified vendors, saving businesses millions in fraud prevention. The firm aims to apply its successful model from Australia to the U.S., a country severely impacted by cybercrime according to the FBI. Eftsure's solution is designed to help companies avoid business email compromise scams among other threats.
